FUSION UV SYSTEM uses intense ultraviolet (UV) radiation to activate photochemical reactions, which is involved in UVcurable inks, adhesives and coatings. Without solvent uses and shorter curing time than conventional thermal-activated reactions, this system offers higher productivity in less time, with a reduction in waste, energy use, and pollutant emissions. HOT TACK HEATSEALER (HTH2) is used to test the strength of heatseals formed in the flexible packaging industry. The AAPPI HTH2 is a system integrated four machines with functionality for Hot Tack, Heatsealing, Heatsealing and Ultimate Strength, or Peel Strength of Heatseals or Laminations. This instrument can control the die temperature to the accuracy of ± 0.2 °C and timing circuits accuracy of ± 2 milliseconds. Dynisco HotTack Heatsealer

LIMITING OXYGEN INDEX CHAMBER (LOI) is to accurately determine the relative flammability of plastics and other materials by measuring the minimum oxygen concentration that will support combustion according to ASTM D2863 and ISO 4589 specifications. The test specimens are burned in a precisely controlled atmosphere of nitrogen and oxygen. The oxygen index is calculated based on a series of experiments at different atmospheres. FOURIER TRANSFORM INFRARED SPECTROMETER (FTJASCO FT-IR SpectrometerIR)
is a powerful tool to identify chemicals based the type of chemical bonds (functio
nal groups) and the interaction of different groups in the materials. Infrared (IR) spectrometers measure the wavelength and intensity of the absorption of infrared light by a sample. It can be used to find the compositions, impurities and more of chemical structures from a variety of materials. The AAPPI FTIR system is capable of measuring from the Near IR (15000 cm-1) to the Far IR (50 cm-1) with a resolution of 0.25 cm-1. With optional features, such as attenuated total reflectance (ATR) mode, liquid cell and IR microscope, this FTIR can identify components of samples in various forms.

ALLIANCE GPCV 2000Waters GPCV System - Reliable, Accurate, User-Friendly Polymer Characterization

The Waters Alliance GPCV 2000 system achieves levels of dependability, reproducibility and accuracy unlike any previous gel permeation chromatography instrument. It can operate from ambient to elevated temperatures needed to solubilize all commonly used synthetic polymers of interest, employing a suite of detection modes needed for functions ranging from routine quality control to detailed studies of polymer structure and conformation.

This instrument features an integrated single-vendor GPC system solution-instrumentation, software, chemistry; unmatched performance that ensures reproducibility of results; automated sample preparation; detection modes that enhance accuracy of calibration curves and quantitative/qualitative information; and scalable Empower software to process and report data.  (www.Waters.com)
